Is Windowsupdate working??

As I cant seem to load it. And it's slow as.

It brings up the error: 0x8DDD0044 up after like 10-15 mins! That's
how long it takes for all of the site to appear. BUT it does bring up
the usual info / menus etc as it should.

It looks like a few people have been getting this. I've tried some of the
things ppl have said in this newsgroup. BUT nothing has helped. It still
takes ages to load the windowsupdate site.

Aside from the three services that need to be running for Windows Update
to work, it appears the automatic updates service needs to be in
Automatic mode (manual is not enough for some reason that escapes me at
the moment). This did the trick for me at any rate. Good luck!
