WindowsUpdate_8024402F

I have windows vista premium and when I try to update windows the message
"windows could not search for new updates" appears in the red bar and the
error code 8024402F is displayed. If anyone could offer some assistance that
would be much appreciated.

What Norton application are you running?

look works for me...take your pc whit you for any home's friend ...and plug
your pc in his internet conection cable,dsl etc ...this process is gonna
clean the ip address from your pc ...and try to use the windows update agayn
.......is the only way i tink to resolve this problem ,,,,
