I previous indicated there are 4 updates posted as high priority for download
- all dated in March. Response to me was there are no March updates. Well,
I'm getting notice of these updates and able to see them ready to be
downloaded - BUT this is what is shown -
Download size (total): 0 KB *
Estimated time at your connection speed: 0 minutes *
(*Downloaded; ready to install) v

Three of these updates are KB929399, KB929338, KB890830. Any other thoughts?

These are the monthly "malicious software removal tool" which once a month
scans/cleans your system (and each month is updated for new malicious
software), a reliability update for Windows XP that helps prevent some
crashes, and a fix for certain devices that plug into Windows Media Player.

The reason that they show 0 bytes to download is that Automatic Updates has
actually already downloaded the bits to your computer but has not yet
installed them. AU will install on shuddown, at the scheduled time
(typically 3am) or if you click on the pop-up bubble that says updates are
ready to install.

Windows Update site is aware that AU has downloaded the updates, so when you
tell it to install it uses the already-downloaded versions, so it shows 0
bytes.

hope this helps.

I had a similar problem. My AU detected and informed me about 5 updates to
install. AU installed all of them with sucess. The first was KB929399. The
other four had no problems, but after the installation completed with
success, AU kept alerting me that updates are ready to install. It keeps
installing KB929399 again and again with success. This happened in Abril, but
the most strange thing is that this pack was already installed in March in my
computer. How can solve this problem ? Apparently Windows Update does not
recognize that the 11 SDK is already installed.
