Could you clarify what file type it is? How was it split into "parts"?
What typically happens is that the file gets munged / truncated to split it,
and those subparts are not valid according to the strict Microsoft parsers.
Without a pointer to the file, I'd simply point out that what you're
describing historically indicates that the files are corrupt. Rejoining
them first and *then* playing them back should get them to work properly.
I believe the 'bad file: truncation' error code in the player is 0x8004022f,
but that's just off the top of my head (that'd be the second attribute in
the Web Help URL).
