windoze update page vista ?

I'm trying to get the update page to load on my vista machine (been trying 3
days) and all i'm getting is this "Error number: 0x80070002" and the red X
and the usual self help speil ! Why can't they accept responsability and sort
it out ? Anyone offer any help ?

Does the fix described in kb914232 apply to your computer? (Spent a whole 1
minute to find this and many other fixes for this error code).

No , the only thing i see under that kb914232 , is relating to xp os , on my
xp m/c the page loads up correctly , it's just my vista m/c , is it meant to
work on vista ? i called the microsoft helpline he said so , but also said
try again in a few minutes it'll work later , but it hasn't worked for the
last 3 days !

confirm this defo' works on vista

You do realise that Vista does not use the website, Vista updates via the
control panel.

Vista does not use the website to update, Vista updates via the control panel.
You'll won't get that page to work in Vista. It's not designed to work in
Vista.

Cheers mate . I telephoned microsoft yesterday the guy i spoke to wasn't sure
he thought it worked with both xp and vista . Cheers again JJ .
