WinHlp32.exe

Need to download an update to enable me to read Help Programs on my old
software. My new computer has Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit OS.
Microsoft has two versions to download: Windows 6-0-KB 917607-x64.msu &
Windows 6-0-KB917607-x86.msu. Does anyone know which one is right for my OS?
I'll be grateful for any advice as I am IT illiterate.

Nope, the crystal ball is in the shop for repairs. :-) However, if you
have a 64-bit version of Windows then the x64 version would be the one you
want, otherwise the x86 version would be what you need.

The x86 version is the one for you.

The other one is for 64-bit Vista.

Correct download: Windows 6-0-KB917607-x86.msu

Option One in this tutorial may be able to fix this problem for you.
This download is for either the 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) Vista.
