WinXP 64-Bit Windows Update has encountered an error...

As I was trying to use the 32-bit browser built into XP, I was unable to
successfully use the windows update service.

The exact error is:
Windows Update Error
Windows Update has encountered an error and cannot display the requested page.

No error number or anything.
I have tried changing proxy settings, messing with security settings, all to
no avail.
Admittedly I am stumped on this one, any help would be apprechiated. Thanks

Robbie, ask yourself this: why would there be any updates for Beta release
software?
