WinXP Home Automatic Updates is stopping at 57 percent

Downloading the latest automatic updates is stopping at 57 percent complete.
It has been like this for 3 days. How do I get it to continue downloading
the update. Sounds like others may be having issues with this latest update
packet from Microsoft.

have no ideal of what to do to get this update compleated

I finally got it to finish downloading.
here is what I did.

clicked on tools in internet explorer

clicked on internet options

clicked on Security tab

clicked on Internet in the zone box

clicked on Default Level which is Medium - mine was set to a custom
level

clicked on Apply

clicked on OK
