By "sound files", I assume you mean drivers. And no - Windows XP may not
have the drivers built in for your particular sound card. The manufacturer
for your sound card (and/or chipset) should have said drivers *if* they
decided to support that hardware set in Windows XP. Visit their web site,
get their drivers for your particular sound card (chipset0 and install it on
your machine.
Easy or not - doesn't matter - you need the drivers for the software to talk
to the hardware properly and this is obviously not happening with your
Windws installation.
