WinXP/SUS Client won't Update

Hello,
With the built-in firewall enabled on a WinXP client the client won't update
after forcing the WinXP client to query a SUS server. If I disable WinXP's
build-in firewall automatic update (AU) on the WinXP client updates from the
SUS server ok.
Is there any way I can configure AU on the client to query and update from a
SUS server with WinXP's built in firewall enabled?
