WinXP Update - 80246008 Error

Each time i try and use Windows Update it starts downloading the new files,
but each time i get a message telling me that it wasn't able to download the
new updates. Nothing has changed on my computer so I'm not sure why all of a
sudden this is happening. I would appreciate any help to solve this problem.
