I recently restored my computer back to factory settings with the syste
recovery discs, and I thought it would wipe my D drive, but it did not
I have saved everything I need on another hard drive and want to wip
this computer completely clean, including the d drive. Any suggestion
on how it can be wiped

Right-click on the drive icon and choose Format?

Hi,

Depends. Is D:\ your recovery volume placed on the system by the
manufacturer? If so, you certainly don't want to wipe it out. If it is
marked as a system or boot volume (as seen by disk manager), then you don't
want to format it or you will lose the ability to boot the system.

If it's just a data volume, simply format it. If it's a system or boot
volume, just delete the unwanted files.
