To who ever can help me. I have a Compaq Presario 900, using Windows XP
home Ed (Servis pack 2), using Dell Wireless 1350, Panda Titanium
firewall/anti Virus software (2005) and Net Gear wireless router. About 2
weeks ago, I found that, after about 10 minutes, I could not reach the inter
net. If I shut down the laptop and tried again I could reach the inter net
but, after 10 minutes. I would get the message that my wireless link had
limited or no access and after few days I could not even get any access at
all. It did not mater if the signal was good or poor from the router. My
wife who has a Dell Inspron 1000 with same type of Dell wireless card (also
XP home but with Macfee Fire Wall/Anti virus) is having no problems. I can
be just 3 feet away and she surfing with no problems and I can not get any
thing. Shortly after I lost wireless connection ability, I could not even
get out by way for the Ethernet wire. I have reformatted the PC and
reloaded operating software (even the Dell wireless soft ware) and I can now
get out on the Ethernet but, again only 10 minutes on the wireless.
Please help before I lose even the Ethernet connection again.

check your network connection properties in control pannel. Make sure that
it is set to automatically get a new IP and also automatic on the DNS server
.. control pannel, network connections, wireless network connection,
properties, automati, automatic, close or ok
