Wireless connectivity is closing and opening AFTER recent Sec. Upd

My wireless Router, a linksys, keeps losing connectivity and then reconnects.
This only happened after the recent security update. I did a system restore
to a date prior to the security update and have had no problems. On my last
shut down the automatic updates downloaded the security updates and ran
them. Since my connectity has had problems. Is there a setting change that
needs to be made?

have you tried updating the latest firmware for your router. I was having
trouble as well, with dropping internet several times a day, and no internet
access on my 2nd computer (with adapter installed). Called linksys toll free,
they walked me thru both, and reinstalled the cd for the 2nd computer. all
working great now, no dropped internet. HOWEVER, later I installed internet
explorer 7, and having LOTS of trouble. each time when typing in the address
bar, computer freezes.. any suggestions?
