Hi there, I have a wireless connection. The PC says that it's connected to
the network and the internet. I can't get any update, can't use messenger,
and explorer gives me this error "ieframe.dll/dnserror.htm". I forgot, I have
two other PCs witn XP that work and are connected to the same router.
Am I the only one with this problem?
Thanks

Gonzalo, ignore "bomb#20". He is a troll and I suppose he felt he needed
to alert us all to that. This wasn't necessary as it is completely
apparent from his postings this morning.

As for your error, I Googled for it and found various links which may
help you. Here are the search results:

http://www.google.com/search?source=...=Google+Search

We would need more information from you in order to give you a more
focused answer. Here are a few things that you could tell us:

1. Router hardware - make/model
2. Wireless adapter hardware - make/model
3. If you can get online using a different browser such as Firefox
4. If you ever were able to get to the Internet with this computer and
if so, what changed

I'm using a Digicom Michelangelo Wave router.
My pc is an HP Compaq 6720s with Intel (R) PRO/Wireless 3945ABG, i got it7
days ago. I got to see a couple of internet pages the first day, with a cell
phone connection. I haven't tried other browsers, i don't want to install to
many things, it's new.
I hope this info helps you.
Thanks for the link, happy new year!!

If you scroll down to 29/12/2007 you will see he started a thread there
and again on 27/12/2007.
You should get make/ model numbers from those posts.
Good luck.
