Wireless isn't working anymore

I have been trying to install the update for the driver for my wireless, but
I get an error everytime. The thing is, the compatability issue is with
something that came built in to my computer, and has been working until this
update was trying to install. When I go to diagnose the problem I get this
messege:

Compatibility issue between Novatel Wireless Expedite EV-DO Modem and
Windows Vista

This problem was caused by a compatibility issue between Windows Vista and
Novatel Wireless Expedite EV-DO Modem.

Novatel Wireless Expedite EV-DO Modem was created by Novatel Wireless Inc..

Recommendation


Any help??

See if rolling back the driver to the previous version resolves the issue:

Ok I can't find the driver that I need, the error shows this Novatel
Wireless Merlin CDMA EV-DO Modem
I cannot find this anywhere on my computer, I tried to search in the start
menu to see if anything came up and nothing does. I don't know what driver I
would need to roll back since this one doesn't seem to come up

When you open Device Manager click the plus sign next to Network
Adapter. If the wireless modem is not listed there, click the plus sign
next to Modems. IF it is still not listed, then click View on the Menu
Bar at the top and choose 'Show hidden devices'.
