Since installing SP2 my wireless network no longer works , the computer will
not connect to the network at all. I'm running a home network, and both the
computer run XP SP2, with Netgear cards installed. I'm thinking that some
default option on SP2 may be to blame. Any help would be appreciated.

Unplug your router's power supply from the router, wait about
two minutes, then reconnect the power supply.

It's an ad hoc network. One desktop and a couple of laptops. All of them are
using netgear adaptors, the desktop a WG311v2, one laptop a WG511 and the
other has in built capability.
