I seem to have the same problem, my wireless laptop just won't update. I
have automatic updates turned on and the little yellow sheild appears and
says downloading update 0% and it never gets anywhere. I set a rule in my
router to turn off it's firewall and turned off the software firewall I also
use, but still nothing which is a damn pain. I will try plugging it into the
router through a cable to see if that works, but then that sort of defeats
the point of a wireless connection. It only happens here, every other bit of
software I have updates fine. Come on Microsoft get it sorted !!
