Seems as though MS havent made any drivers for this lovely little bit of kit.
Works fine on XP (and there are still XP drivers, Intellipoint 5.5 being the
latest, which of course refuse to install in Vista) but cant map the middle
mouse button to double click without the software. Unhelpfully Vista's
problem solver (great idea, i like it) directs me to download Intellipoint
6.1 which... doesnt work.

Anybody got any ideas? I *need* the middle mouse button to act as double
click, it speeds me up no end.... or if MS would just like to release a
driver for it that would be just lovely. Cant be too hard - is there that
much difference between my mouse and the Wireless Optical Mouse 2.0?

(alternatively, if anyone can tell me how to re-map the middle button to
double click on a standard Dell USB optical mouse id be very grateful!)

Cheers,

Stagletto

No way round this that I know of - used a third-party app for the double
click function instead :

And it works beautifully! Shame MS couldnt have made an Intellipoint driver
for it in Vista but I guess they cant write drivers for everything.
