When receiving emails I read for one of my accounts that the task is not
completed and this phrase : "Some errors occurred while processing the
requested tasks. Pleas review the list of errors"
There is no error in the list, anyway the account seems to work well when
sending and
receiving emails.

My guess would be:
1. WindowsLiveMail.log
2. Windows Application Event log (e.g. using the Event Viewer)
3. anything else that ProcMon would expose ; )

Your settings look correct.
Here in the U.S. Yahoo accounts require Premium Yahoo Mail Plus plan for pop3 send/receive.

Assuming the same in Italy or that premium accounts are not required your settings look correct.

The period error you receive which (as you stated) does not impact functionality could be due to an Antivirus or AntiMalware program scanning your incoming and outbound mail or the creation/recreation of the WLM message store while indexing.

Consider disabling email scanning in your AV client.

I'm having the same problem. I get the error message with no apparent error. That's in my gmail account using IE8, IMAP, Windows 7, in Windows Live Mail.

When I click on send/receive to check for new messages, I do not get the error message. When Windows Live Mail does it's 30 minute automatic check for incoming mail, I get the mail along with the error message.

Can anyone help?

That sounds suspiciously like the Update All - Undefined Error bug in WLMail 2011, which appears to be directly related to having one or more News Accounts with the option '[x] Include this account when checking for new messages' checked in the Account Properties' General tab.

Try un-checking that option in all your News Accounts, then restart WLMail to see if the error clears.

In testing the bug, I have noticed the following:

The first 'Update All', whether manual or automatic, does not produce an undefined error. However, subsequent Update All's do produce an undefined error, and there is no tick beside the first task listed in the spooler, that annoyingly pops up (see screenshots).

It seems to occur only when one or more News Accounts have the option set: "[x] Include this account when checking for new messages". So the workaround that seems to work, is to uncheck that option (in the account's properties sheet) for all news accounts - and then restart WLMail.

However, after applying the above workaround and achieving several successful Update All's (and again restarting WLMail), I was able to again check that option for one, then a couple of my newsgroup accounts before the Update All broke again after re-checking the option on my fourth news account.

So, after achieving a couple of successful Update All's after applying the workaround (and restarting WLMail), we can try re-checking the option '[x] Include this account when checking for new messages' in each newsgroup account. This does not seem to work for everyone though...

Now, this undefined error occurs whether signed into Windows Live in WLMail, or not signed in. However, when signed in and this error surfaces, the task 'Update all calendar events' is not displayed in the spooler's Tasks tab. Yet when signed in and the workaround is applied (and there is no undefined error), the task 'Update all calendar events' is displayed (and ticked) at the end of the task list in the spooler.

+1 for the 'uncheck Newsgroup accounts'

Regarding the 'add Include after a restart'
- at this end it only works the first time, thereafter the first email
account is not checked

?Hi, Bob.

After fighting this "no-error error message" for weeks, I finally got a
tip
from "mavone" in another newsgroup that solved the problem. It doesn't
really sound like it should work, but it has worked for me for about 3 days
now, so I think I'm cured. ;<)

The tip is simple: On EACH News Account's Properties page, just UNcheck
the
box that says to "Include this account when checking for new messages."

To get there, of course, right-click on each Account in the Folder Pane and
choose Properties.

In that thread, it was suggested that the "Include this account..." box can
be checked again, after restarting WLM, without re-triggering the error
message, but I haven't tried that yet.
