Everytime I select anything to do with video, I get the "Windows Live has
encounterd a problem and needs to close. I have tried re-installing both WL
and my logitech webcam, but nothing seems to solve the problem. Any
suggestions?

Greetings,

Unfortunately this could be just about anything, although the error message itself my provide
a clue. In that sorry for the inconvenience dialog, click the "click here" link -- in the
next screen, you'll see something like the
following: szAppName : msnmsgr.exe szAppVer : 8.1.0168 szModName : rpcrt4.dll

If you could reply back with what the szModName has in your error, it might (but isn't
always) be helpful.

I have made some progress……….. I tried the QC 5000 on my notebook (which has
the QC notebook camera loaded) and the 5000 worked fine. The QC version that
was loaded to the notebook was QC version 10.0A. So I uninstalled v10.0 from
my desktop and loaded v10.0A.

This finally stopped the error and shutdown. The problem now is that the
camera doesn't "turn on" therefore there is no video. WL acts like the camera
is loaded and tells me that it is connected, but....no video.

Any assistance would be appreciated.
