Same question

How about providing all details at once..
Inbox for type of email account - isp, pop3 or IMAP - Hotmail using pop3 or http/deltasync - are the messages present on your account web inbox (your isp, google, yahoo, hotmail, etc) Last time you performed a compact (manually) or allowed WLM to do it (it happens automatically by default every 100 uses) and if you aborted it manually or received a dialog box that it could not complete. -- ....winston msft mvp mail "OREALLY" wrote in message news:jcii20$md4$... pop3...Comcast account...These messages that don't open and must be deleted
individually are not on the web account, although they probably were, temporarily, until they were downloaded. The compacting process has not been aborted that I know of and never got a message that it couldn't complete. Open WLM in mail mode (don't access news, contacts, calendar, feeds)
Set the compact counter to 1 Go offline (rt side on the Home tab Ribbon) Exit WLM using the blue WLM button (or press Alt F X) Wait for it to compact (do not interrupt) Open WLM Go Offline Delete the messages If still not capable of deletion - Look in the Comcast account Inbox folder in Windows Explorer (enable the Subject field column to see the message Subject. Were you able to delete the messages ?
If I may ask, do you ever move or delete messages from WLM's Quick View folders ?
