WLM 2009 freezes on sign in................

Hi

Since I updated WLM from 8.5 to 2009 final version I have a proble
with signing in
Immediately after I click the Sign In button the WLM window freezes
The 'icon' (http://www.vistax64.com/#) near the windows clock wil
indicate that WLM is signing in, but after some time it shows again th
blue man with the red cross. Even after the sign in failure the WL
window is still frozen and only after stopping the process with tas
manager it will close
Can anyone please help with this

I can't offer help on this one, except to say that I have this happen frequently
on a number of machines with any flavor since WL Messenger 2009 came out of
beta. In my case, it only happens when the PC wakes from sleep. It will then
freeze/hang/die at sign-in and I need to let Windows end the task. Once
restarted, it will be fine for days usually. I've had it on XP, Vista 32 bit and
64 bit and also on Windows 7 beta, but most frequently on a Vista 32 bit
machine.

Thanks for your input Steve, just too bad Microsoft hasn't given a
answer. Basically the program is useless if you can't sign in..
