The configuration data for this product is corrupt.
contact your support personnel

and when i try installing it using this code:
msiexec /x {0AAA9C97-74D4-47CE-B089-0B147EF3553C}
i get also this error:
The configuration data for this product is corrupt.
contact your support personnel

and when using this code:
msiexec /x {B1403D7D-C725-4858-AACC-7E5FA2D72859}
i get this error:
This action is only valid for products that are currently installed.

i tried using the Zapmessenger (i left it for 10h) but nothing happened
i tried removing it with 4 scripts from ur admins called:

Greetings Relan,

It's going to be difficult to solve this just on the newsgroup. As such, try something else.
See what happens when you try to install Windows Live Messenger 2008 instead:

Hello,

thanks for helping me, when i tried to install the windows live messenger
2008 i got this error:
Your computer has a newer version of Windows Live Messenger than the one you
are trying to install. To install an older version, first remove the current
version (click Start, Settings, Control Panel, Add or Remove, Windows Live
Messenger), and then run this Set Up Again.

And when i tried installing the windows live messenger 2008 stand alone i
got the same error.

Hi,

Got it. I actually have a newer version of ZapMessenger which just bypasses the problem most
people encounter when it just sits there which I think should help:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/dow...er-1.0beta.zip

Feel free to try installing 2009 again after this.

hello,

thanks for the update but I'm still facing the same problem as before.
ZapMessenger 1.0a (1.0.0.1) is working for hours and nothing (just like the
previous problem)

i tried installing windows live 8.5 and the same error came up.
