WLM 8.1 and 8.5 BETA - Drops Connection When Trying Audio/Video/IM

Obviously, this is driving me up the wall. Is used to work fine with no
problems, but the second I try to make an audio or video call, or even send
an IM, the connection drops and reconnects a few seconds later.

Help, anybody? Running with plenty of RAM and speed, and I am well-versed
in ANTI-VIRUS/ANTI-SPYWARE, so that's not the cause of any of this. Windows
XP HOME.

Thanks!

Andy

Hi Andy,

No solution, but probably the problem is widespread. I am also
experiencing the same problems as you are. I too, have Windows XP Home
Edition Service Pack 2, but Internet Explorer 7 is not installed.

I have my Anti-Virus program turned off.

Very interesting to hear that someone else has this same problem - almost
thought it was just me, but I figured that wasn't the case. I just received
an outline of what to do to (hopefully) fix this from the WLM team support,
and if it works, I will post what they told me here...so stay tuned!

Well, turns out that an apparently database corruption with my firewall was
preventing a connection. I fixed that, but NOW...it connects, but keeps
saying that "NETWORK IS SLOW" - both ends of video call freeze, no audio, etc.

It's just one thing after another. I think I will post THIS issue as a new
one.

Thanks!
