WLM 8.1 Reconnects every 35 seconds

I'm using the latest version of WLM 8.1 (8.1.0178.00) for as far as I know on
my XP-machine.
When I sign in all is well for about 35 seconds and I'm not signed in anymore.
After 35 seconds WLM automatically reconnects and the story starts all over...

The strange thing is, I've installed this same version on another machine
running XP and there are no problems.
In the configuration is a difference (older hardware).
I'm using zonealarm as a firewall and antivirus.
Version 7.5 always worked like a charme, but since there is a leak in this
version I wanted WLM als on this computer.

Can someone help me fix this problem?

I am having exactly the same issue, to a "T", I have XP, Zonealarm Suite and
WLM 8.1. I hope someone can help us out. I have tried all suggested options
from other blog sites with no change at all. I am going to try resetting
Zonealarm becuz I'm thinking that might be the issue. Will answer back if
there is improvement afterwards.
