For some reason the option to enlarge the video to fullscreen is no longer
available. Also I can't even get large option as the only 2 available under
Size are small and medium. Can anyone help on this. Am running under XP.

Greetings Nick,

Just to confirm, you are using the Video Call feature? If you're using the "Share my webcam"
function (which is a separate feature), it does not have a full screen option.

That answers my question Jonathan. I was using Share my Webcam this time as
Video Call is failing to work between to XP based machines running 8.5. I
must say WLM for me is becoming less stable than in the past in audio, video
& remote assistance areas as I am experiencing more problems with these
features nowadays than I ever have done in the past. OK one of my machines is
now Vista based so not all down to WLM but total experience is no good. I
still have these remote assistance problems between 2 Vista machines I
reported to you earlier by the way.

Anyway on a high end of year note I'd like to say that you are one of the
best MVP's on thse forums and really on the ball, as you have been for
several years now. So may I take this opportunity to wish you Happy New Year
and thanks for all support offered to me and others on this forum in 2007.

Hi Nick,

Connectivity is usually fixed in polished in every release of Messenger. 8.5 is far better
on Vista than 8.1 was for instance.

Remote Assistance in Vista is a real pain, I've spent a number of hours working on trying to
make it work a few times and don't have much to report. Although oddly a reboot generally
does wonders.

Happy new year to you too Nick
