WLM 9.0 features and API suggestions

Hello guys,
I don't like the fact that they closed the beta on Connect as I have some
suggestion to make. I think here is now the most appropriate place. Anyway,
to my suggestion

Integrating WL spaces and profile into the messenger's contact card is a
great thing but it's also a bit limiting. Imagine if the gleam worked when I
upload new photos to flickr or make a new post to my blog, some blog other
than WL Spaces, it would be great to notify my contacts about these stuff
through messenger.

I think an API for this purpose should be made available so that developer's
can write many plugins that query many services such as flickr and others
and be able to use messenger to notify contacts about these updated stuff
the same way as spaces and profile updates now work.

I think Windows Live Writer is doing a great job allowing users to use blogs
other than spaces if they want to. WL Messenger is my favorite IM client.

Providing such plugins and APIs gives more value to WL as it's about
"connecting people", "sharing" and "better expressing yourself".

This would be a real nice thing.

and btw, Yahoo Messenger for Vista seems to rock so please guys, we want the
best (use WPF)!
