Does anyone know if MS will be fixing the NNTP message quoting in the RTM
version of WLM 4 or has that feature now been removed both from the beta and
from the final version? Without this feature I will need to discontinue use
of WLM so just wondering if I should hold on as the feature is likely to be
fixed and added back in or if it is gone and I should just move from WLM to
Thunderbird or an alternative?

I'm in the same boat as you. As far as I know, Microsoft has not indicated
whether that will be fixed or not. It's a deal breaker for me also.

I wonder. They have killed their own NNTP service. I think that they are not
geared to NNTP support. For my part, I've only ever used WLM for the
HTTPMail support of their Windows Live Hotmail service. Rarely for anything
else (even email, not to mention news).

i don't like me too posts but me too.
why their lack of nntp support? the "forums" are not at all conducive for
what i need. and changing the quote reply is not that difficult to fix.
the alternative for me would be going back to a back up news reader which i
would prefer not to do.
