I made an event and need to be reminded of it. I see no notification options. I'm using WLM
version 2009. Did I miss something? Did they think we all have perfect memories? If so, we
wouldn't need calendars!

For a Live ID
Calendar Menu/Tools
- select Deliver reminders to
Reminders(notifications) can only be delivered to an email address, Windows Live Messenger, or mobile device

If not using a Live ID...notifications are **not** sent...no upward sync to inform the web server to send a notification.

If notifications without use of a Live ID are required then a different Calendar program or local email client with a Calendar
feature is necessary(e.g. Outlook)

That's a disappointment. Guess I'll look for something that doesn't require
signing in. Every time I think Microsoft has designed something good they
have to stick a knife in it to try to get a little more info out of you and
ruin it. Best to just try everything else besides Microsoft products first.
You'll probably find something much better. They should stick with 1 thing:
The OS. Nothing else. Just keep on working out the kinks, day by day. And
maybe Office. Same with Apple. Their other products (besides the OS) are
just so poor compared to the competition. The only people using them are
those too naive or lazy to know better. Stick with what you do best. Never
deviate. Gotta remember that in my own life!
