WLM Contacts

Can anyone give me the directory path for WLM Contacts so I can addit to my
Backup program please?

You can find the name of both the Live ID and Default contacts folder in this registry key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Live Contacts\Database

Note: The folder name(long numerical string) is accurate but the path name in the registry is not the exact path location..
e.g. in Vista/Windows 7
The registry shows
C:\Users\<your windows id>\Contacts\Default\
and for a Live ID
C:\Users\<your windows id>\Contacts\<your Live Id>

In Windows Explorer with Explorer's Folder Options set to view (Protected Operating System files) the root folder for all Contacts
is:
Vista:
C:\Users\<windows id>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Contacts

Xp:
C:\Documents and Settings\<windows id>\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows Live Contacts

Each Live ID's folder name has a DBStore folder containing contact.edb(that Live ID's WLM Contact database)
- Note Each Live ID has two folders assigned to it..one primary folder and one shadows(the registry key above shows the folder
name for both. The Default(no Live ID at signon) only one.
