Greetings,
I bet.
To get the debug data, click Start then start typing:
problem reports and solutions
and then click the shortcut when it appears.
Once you get to the Problem Reports and Solutions dialog, choose "View problem history" on
the left. Scroll down to the Windows Live Messenger heading and double-click the most recent
one.
You'll be presented with a screen of debug information. Choose 'Copy to clipboard' at the
bottom and then paste it in your reply. Although sometimes this is totally useless,
sometimes it can identify the problem.
In the meantime to assist with girlfriend troubles, your girlfriend can use the WebMessenger
(
http://webmessenger.msn.com) or another client like Trillian (
http://www.trillian.cc),
Miranda (
http://www.miranda-im.org), all of which support the .NET (Windows Live) Messenger
network.
