I have the most recent version of WLM 9 and additionally installed WLM for
kids from http://www.kinder-messenger.de . When I go to the Games tab and
click on the icon of a particular game, Internet Explorer (7.0) opens a new
window and shows an error like "Cannot open
http%3A%2F%2Fwww.tivi.de%2Ffernsehen%2Flogo%2Fpopu p_html%2F28762%2Findex.html" . What's wrong with this url-encoding?

Greetings,

I forgot that existed.

As I'm sure you already know, http://www.tivi.de/fernsehen/logo/po...762/index.html
is the real link.

I couldn't find a reference to this on the web for some reason, but it was my understand that
there's rules in modern browsers to prevent percent-encoded links like this from being
directly accessible to avoid obfuscation of URLs. I could be very wrong here though.

Thanks for confirming what I feared to be the case. So that ingenious WLM for
kids contains a dozen of simply obsolete hyperlinks. Good to be an adult :-)

Hi,

Quite

Like most of these one-off things, they're built, and then forgotten about/never maintained.
I think [normal] Messenger is pretty kid-friendly to be honest.
