WLM messages appear stuck in outbox but are in fact sending

I'm observing the strange behavior in WLM recently where messages I send sit
in the Outbox and the program actually reports that the mail cannot be sent,
but in fact it is sent and often multiple times. I got a call from a
co-worker recently to let me know he received 17 copies of the same message
that was still sitting in my Outbox. Any idea what to do about this?

I have encounter the same problem recently with my fellows, and today my
colleague told me he have received like 20 copies of the same message too,
even its look ok when I sent (at least it has moved from the Outbox to the
Sent box)
I'm using 12.0.1184 and Windows XP SP2

Is there anyone know about this problem and how to solve it?

Thanks Ron, updated just now, but the contact list has all gone...
anyway, will this matter for the problem happening?
I'm not sure about Vic and Scout WLM's version btw..

Open Contacts, File, Import,....
No, you don't need a list of contacts to send an email.

Hi, Edwin.

> I'm not sure about Vic and Scout WLM's version btw..

Press Ctrl+F3 to see the headers for the highlighted messages. Vic's OP was
using 12.0.1606. We don't know Scoutmaster's version because he used the
web-based interface, indentified as "Microsoft CDO for Windows 2000" - the
same as your posts. Another clue that you are using the GUI interface is
your displayed email address:

You did tell us the version you were using for your first post, which we
could not get from the headers. You were using 1184 then; are you using
1606 now? You say you "updated just now", so I assume that you are, but I
can't confirm that.

This is the first I've heard about the new (?) issue of "stuck" messages
having actually been sent. Or about any "stuck" message issue in build 1365
or later.

I use Live Mail desktop (newest build ..1606) with several accounts. If I
select the inbox of my Live account the send/receive option or F5 doesn’t
work. Why?

If I’ll send an email from this account (in Live Mail Desktop) it will stuck
in the outbox. The email is send 20x to my receivers as described before.

Two symptoms of the same problem??

By the way I don't know if they type of mail account is a factor, but for
the record I have a hotmail plus account.
