WLM messages appear stuck in outbox but are in fact sending

Well Ron, I'm not sure. I'm running W7 RC with the beta for Microsoft
Security Essentials. I can't tell if it's scanning the mail or not.

I looked and the MSE forum and noted that MSE does not scan mail in or out
only attachments that have been opened.

I also use the MSE beta, and I can't find any evidence in its settings that
emails are scanned. There is no option for it.

Would those happen to be messages that you sent shortly before closing
WLM?

There appears to be a bug in WLM with messages moved between folders
shortly before closing. It's intermittent. What happens is that the
message EML file is physically moved, but the index still says that
message is in the original folder. When WLM is reopened that message
shows as in the old folder but isn't really there. You can delete it
there. And the message is in the new folder, but the From/To columns
show incorrect information. To fix the message from/to, drag the
message to a Windows folder (not WLM) and back into WLM. Then delete
the original message.

My problem with WLM is not quite the same-I just downloaded it to run with
W7, X64. I entered an incorrect email address, the message went, was bounced
by the receiver's server as undeliverable (although it did not come back to
me in the inbox), but somehow "tricked" WLM into seeing the message as
unsent. Net, I get the error window when I load or sync WLM. I

I would REALLY prefer not to delete WLM and re-load it as I have already had
to do 3 restores just to get W7 running somewhat stable.
