Hello!

I've been seeing around the net sporadic news about a mysterious version of
Windows Live Mobile for Pocket PC which includes a version of Windows Live
Messenger. There has been a version around the forums in the world but it
doesn't work anymore (you cannot login) and supposedly a new version has been
announced but it has been postponed again and again during the last 2 months.

Does anybody know ANYTHING about this mysterious WLM Mobile for PPC
release??? I cannot find a blog for this branch of WL and cannot find ANY
news at all for the last time... is it possible that it has completely
vanished? Why can't I login anymore with the beta version that's roaming
around the net?

THANKS!!

Martin

Greetings Martin,

Yeah I know what you mean, news on the Pocket PC version has been mysteriously silent.

I don't personally have a new(ish) PocketPC device to try the leaked beta on so I can't tell
whether or not its still working for me.

Over the weekend though, http://www.mess.be (scroll down a bit to see it) reported on
versions for SmartPhone (with download links for the various models). So, maybe it's
forthcoming. I'm betting it'll resurface with the launch of the next Windows Mobile release.

What? The next Windows Mobile? You mean WM6? That's a long time ahead... I
really wonder why they disabled the possibility to access from the beta
version, and if there're any functional builds around... also, there's no
place to check news on this build... I couldn't find any Live Mobile blog or
something similar...
Thanks for the answer!
Martin

Hey Martin,

Actually I thought Crossbow was supposed to release at the first half of 2007.
