WLM: Problems starting WebCam or Video Call

I've been having this problem over the past few days, hopefully someone on
here can help me out. I have been using WLM since the early beta stages, and
I never have had problems using webcam or video calls. However since
yesterday I have not been able to create a connection for either webcam or
video call.

When I send a request for a friend to view my webcam, they receive the
invite and accept, but I am not informed that they accept and the connection
is never completed. Also, if a friend sends me an invite to view their
webcam, I do not receive an invite at all.

The same problem exists for Video Calls. If I try to initiate a call, the
friend receives an invite and accepts, but my WLM still thinks it is calling.
And if a friend tries to initiate a video call, I never receive an invite.

It is not a problem with my firewall (ZoneAlarm) as I have had it working up
until yesterday, and no settings have been changed. However, after searching
around the Internet for a solution, I think it may be a problem with my
router. I am behind a NAT, so could that be the cause of my problems? The
settings on the router (Linksys WAG54G) have not been modified recently, but
it is UPnP.

Any advice would be great!

Just an update on the situation...

It only seems to not work for one of my contacts. I have tested both webcam
and video call for my other contacts, and it works perfectly. As for the
friend who I cannot connect to, she is able to use both webcam and video call
for her other contacts too.

Does your friend sign-in with a Yahoo account? Are the other contacts you
are able to connect with signing in with a Hotmail or Windows Live Mail
account?

Try removing each other as a contact and then adding each other back.

What version are you on, and what version is your contact on?
