WLM SHuts down my computer on video call

Whenever I do a video call with Windows Live Messenger, after about 10 or 15
minutes something shuts down my computer. I never had this problem with the
older windows messenger software that I was using.

Has anyone experienced this, and if so, do you have any suggestions on how
to fix that problem.

I too am having a similar problem with one computer!! It only happens on a
m/c that uses a Windows Life Cam!! I wonder which cam you are using??

I;m using a Logitech Fusion camera

Now I suspect I've got another area to solve!! I have both computers set up
similarly, both using the same version of Messenger (8.1), both have
identical "Life Cams", One works, one doesn't!! Now I'm pretty sure that it
isn't Camera Specific. So will continue to search for solutions. I have
removed the "Windows Messenger" from my settings on the m/c that is fine.
Will try that with the other m/c.
Looking forward to hearing some other ideas!!!
