I've been using WLM for years with no problem until now. I can make a Video
Call to contacts and I can view Webcam, problem arises when I try to accept a
Video Call as soon as I click on accept Messenger freezes and I get a message
saying it has experienced a problem and it shuts down. Error Message is
0x80ee000c which I cannot trace anywhere. I have completed wiped my hard disc
and reinstalled XP Home Edition 3 times thinking the problem was there but to
no avail. Exactly the same thing is still happenning.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Greetings Dave,

The error means the connection timed out. Which probably means that between yourself and
your contact (so either side), might have a router or similar device which is trying to
rewrite the initial connection packets between you (more commonly known as an Application
Layer Gateway).

That said, both of you might peruse around your router configurations and see if there is any
ALGs you can turn off, especially anything relating to SIP (if you see any other SIP options,
you may want to play with those as well).
