Hi
I have not been able to sign into my net passport through WLM 8 today, i can
through Messenger 7.5 and Windows Messenger. I get and error come up saying
that it has to close. I have uninsatlled and re-installed a fair number of
times, any tips?

No problems from here (Italy)... maybe depends by a server problem where
are u located.

If his client is crashing, it's most likely not a server problem.

Greetings,

In the error that apologizes for the inconvenience of Messenger shutting down, click the
"click here" link -- in the next screen, you'll see something like the
following: szAppName : msnmsgr.exe szAppVer : 8.0.365 szModName : rpcrt4.dll

If you could reply back with what the szModName has in your error, it could be helpful.

I have uninsatlled it at the moment and put 7.5 back on, i shall try again
tomorrow.

Hi, this morning i still hav the problem

i cant even open it without this error pop up, firstly it tells me the
server is unavailable then it comes up MSN Messenger 8 was unable to
continue would you like to send an error report? I cannot copy this error
report, is there a place it would be stored?What can i do to sort this
problem?
