WLMess email notifications even though unchecked option

This just started after coming out of sleep mode.

Sometimes I receive email notifications from WLMess for my normal email
inbox/account (NOT hotmail and NOT gmail). Yes, WLMess is up and most of
the time I do NOT receive email notifications.

I have unchecked the box in WLMess so as to not receive email notifications.
Yet, they still come. Clicking ON the notification (options link) or
anywhere on that popup does nothing.

Well, final thread and post by Winston pretty much says what I would.

It would be nice to see some screenshots of specifically what these notifications are
however.
