WM5 Sync with Vista "Windows Calender", "Contacts", and "Mail"

I just bought Vista Home Premium together with Office 2007 Home and Student.
I noticed that Home and Student doesn't include Outlook 2007, but wasn't
worried since Vista includes great integrated Contacts, Calender and Mail
services.

However, having installed the latest Sync Centre upgrades, it looks like
there is no way to sync the contacts and calender on my WM5 smartphone with
my Vista contacts and calender - the only options are to sync with Outlook
2007, which isn't included in the Office 2007 Home and Student Edition. So
it looks like Vista's Calender, Mail and COntacts are only intended as
standalone applications that don't integrate with other Microsoft devices.

There must be a way around this - I cannot believe that Microsoft intend
this to be part of the Vista customer experience, but if the answer is to buy
Outlook 2007 then all I can say is "WOW" :-)

Any tips or advice on how to solve this, please?

Yeah, that sounds like Microsoft.....They don't even support a lot of their
own stuff! I have a few problems with stuff that is Microsoft products that
have no way of working with Vista
