wmdc and htc wizard connection error

I have been trying for days to get my HTC Wizzard (Cingular 8125) windows
mobile 5 device to connect via Windows Media Device Center on vista. I have
no problem on XP with ActiveSync 4.5 My log follows (minus hindreds of "icon

Hi,
Did you make sure that any software firewall, antivirus or antispyware apps
allow ActiveSync to work?

Can you follow the instructions here to gather logs from WMDC and send them
to me? http://www.pocketpcfaq.com/faqs/wmdc/debug/index.htm

Also make sure that the following ports are open in your firewall exceptions
list.
Inbound TCP:

· 990

· 999

· 5678

· 5721

· 26675



Outbound UDP:

· 5679
