WMDC Doesn't seem to be able to keep separate profiles

I am running Vista Home Premium, WMDC version 6.1.6965. I have a Motorola Q
SmartPhone and a Dell Axim x51v. I do NOT attempt to connect the devices at
the same time.

I also have a Dell laptop running XP that I sync my calendar to.

The problem I am running into is WMDC seems to set the sync settings to the
last device connected irregardless of the device that is connected. So if I
switch devices, the profile reverts to the previous device and I have to go
in and change the sync settings.

Meaning, if I sync my SmartPhone (which as different setting) and then
connect my PocketPC, the sync setting for the PocketPC will be changed to
what the SmartPhone was. Then if I connect my SmartPhone, the setting will
be that of the PocketPC.

If the profiles are NOT going to be kept unique why have them. I have tried
everything I can think of including removing profiles, renaming profiles and
and and.... But WMDC does not appear to care what is what. The most
frustrating part is that this causes duplicates in Contacts and Calendar if
anything was updated since the last sync.
