WMP 9 upd install still "In Progress"

I inadvertently re-downloaded WMP 9, now while using WMP 9 to "listen live"
to media I sometimes get a IE Script Error (xxxxx1329)??? dialog box. Any
assistance would be greatly appreciated since I'm a newbie! Thank You.
