WMP cannot "Allow" xbox to media share

xbo360 appears in list of devices in WMP media share window but the "allow"
button is grayed out. cannot go any further when setting up WMP and xbox.
Settings set to "all" so mystery as to why "allow" option is grayed out
("deny" option is not grayed out) Suggestions?? btw - Zune connects to my
xbox with no problems.
