wmp disappears in the taskbar

When I start to play a mp3 file, I can hear the sound but I cannot see the
window media player in the taskbar.

If I find WMP in the windows player and start it, it appears again. This is
very annoying.

Any suggestion?

Right-click the task-bar.Select `Toolbars>Windows Media Player`.Although it
may not produce any visible effect if WMP is not already open,try playing
your file again and check whether it appears in the task-bar now.
