I am using Home Vista and my WMP had been working fine until a few weeks ago.
When I received a 3rd party short movie etc. I get an error message saying
there is not enough memory. I checked and there is plenty of RAM and hard
drive available. I still get the message when nothing else is running. I've
checked the error message on the MS web sight and they offer no solution. Any
ideas?

Machine specs?
How much RAM is showing in use in Task Manager?
How big is the movie?

Possibly a corrupt video file, or lack of hard disk space on one particular
partition (assuming multiple partitions)

I too have received this error recently and it was when trying to play a
short video. My computer has 8 gigs of ram, 512 MB of video ram and 275 gigs
free on the partition. I assume that it is a corrupt video file that causes
this because long video and audio clips play just fine.
