WMP Opens up to the last played video

When I close Windows Media Player and re open it, the last played video is
brought back up paused at the point when I closed Windows Media Player. Is
there a way to disable this?

What version of WMP and Windows?

When did this start happening? It sounds exactly like the 'restore
media'-feature in my Windows Media Player Plus! plug-in -

If you go to WMP's Options - Plug-ins, and select Background, do you see
Windows Media Player Plus! in the list?
