WMP12 and 7

Hi,
Is there a way to turn off loudness in WMP12 on 7?
Cant figure out which causes the loudness media player or 7.
Went through almost everything, checked off loudness, dolby for normal, etc.
I have a Realtek chip that I'm afraid to install the driver for 7.
Did it last time on 7 installation and crashed several times.
The system can hold 7 with plenty of resources.
